AND EVERYTHING MUST COME TO AN END SOMETIME AND TODAY IS THE DAY FOR THELMA & LOUISE

Our last CJCS function was on Sunday in Flamborough at the Beverly Golf & Country Club. What a beautiful clubhouse and setting but not all that easy to find!

Once again we had a wonderful turnout of Jewels, with Bertha Rose (a "Founding Member") who is in eighties I believe, driving in from her home in Inwood, ON (between London and Sarnia) Now that is a committed member to drive so far to attend our luncheon! We presented her with our new CJCS Christmas pin (stunning pin designed by Sue)

Our Jewels enjoyed a lovely luncheon and we had a few door prizes and lots of talk and fun.

Suddenly, it was over. It was a feeling of mixed emotions: sad that it was over and relieved that it was over and I could spend two days relaxing before my husband arrives and we start up a busy schedule of visiting friends and family before the long drive home.

I will continue the blog and let you know if there is anything of interest on the drive home.

To all who supported Thelma & Louise, whether by attending events, hosting events, following us on the blog and Facebook age - WE THANK YOU. It was nice to have you along with us on our journey. We have visited with old friends and met new ones. We've seen places in our country we would never have seen as we were off the beaten track a few times. So many memories and right now both Louise and I are so tired it all seems a blur but slowly all the beautiful memories return so we can relive them.

Thank you to all who signed our shirts! Mementos of our trip that will keep you all in our hearts!
