We're packed!
The time has finally arrived to hit the road and head eastward to our first stop in Revelstoke where we will be meeting Jewels for dinner tonight. The photo above is the road between Kelowna and Vernon (but Lynda didn't take it as both hands are on the wheel as she heads to Vernon to pick up Sue. It's about a 45 minute drive with light traffic.
Speaking of packed, the car is "loaded" and Sue's bags aren't in it yet! "Some" Jewels don't travel lightly - at least not this one! (Some boxes will be left in Regina for the CJCS Convention - um, two or three. The rest is all my "stuff" I need for being away six weeks.
The skies are clear blue, and it looks like a beautiful day for a drive.
